The submersible tubular axial flow pump with the Impeller Built-in rotor type is a new product, which is researched and developed by predecessor of our company Hefei Electrical Machinery Plant on the basis of submersible relay pump in the late 1980s. Recently, our company researched and developed a new generation of submersible tubular axial flow pump with the Impeller Built-in on the basis of the product structure, and focuses on efficiency improvement of performance and reliability. The product has gained some recognition in the market during product-sale in recent years. The product is mainly applied to electromechanical irrigation, flood control and waterlogging or water intake project characterized by combination of irrigation and drainage, low head and large flow rate.

The working principle of the submersible tubular axial flow pump with the Impeller Built-in
is that: the impeller of the water pump is installed in the rotor cavity of a motor to be
integrated into one with the rotor; when the pump works, water flows through the rotor cavity
of the submersible motor. The device inherits the advantages of the submersible tubular
axial flow pump, such as saving of investment, compact structure, convenience for
installation, lower noise and good heat dissipation function. Because water straight flows
inwards or outwards, straight-in-out flow changes are characterized by good hydraulic
performance and smooth flow channels and high efficiency of devices.
(1). Due to wet stator structure, windings do not need to be sealed
Windings of the wet stator winding structure are special water-resistant winding wires
produced according to patent technologies. Due to fully-sealed structure, electrical
insulation safety problems caused by leakage produced because of poor seal link can be
avoided. The whole windings are soaked in the water, so the windings are high in reliability.
(2). Compact structure and shorter size
Small axial length, and compact structure. Compared with the traditional dry type
submersible axial flow pump, the axial size is nearly shortened by half. Due to lightweight,
metal consumption is 40% less, and rapid self-coupling installation can be achieved. And
the product can derive a large number of installation methods suitable for engineering
application, such as vertical type, horizontal type and diagonal type, so the structure of the
pump station is simplified. The installation methods are especially suitable for two-way
pump station that combines irrigation with drainage. Horizontal tubular flow type is a major
installation method, and you can also install the product diagonally or vertically.
(3). Due to a stable structure with two support points, and short pump shaft, operational
reliability is greatly improved.
(4). The bearing is a rolling bearing and lubricated with grease. Rational radial bearing
and thrust bearing can be selected by calculating. The outer walls of the bearing cavities on
both ends are located in the work water flow channel, so that the cooling effect of the
bearing is remarkable.
(5). Dynamic seal adopts mechanical seal, so the assembling accuracy is high and
sealing performances are good.
(6). The device's efficiency is improved significantly.
Water runs directly, so the influence on turning and special-shaped tubes is reduced. Due
to uniform flow rate, smooth flow state, partial loss is reduced. Besides, due to short flow
channel and low flow channel loss, the device's efficiency is improved significantly.
(7) Lower noise and good heat emission conditions
Operating conditions are improved greatly and underwater heating emission conditions
are good. Noise is little, so influence on environment is reduced.
(8). Operation is convenient to manage and easy to automatically control. Basic
excavated volume is small, and construction period is short.
(9). A temperature rise protection device of motor winding, a water shortage protection
device of motor cavities and a temperature rise protection sensor of the bearing are
arranged in the impeller built-in type submersible tubular axial flow pump. So that safety and
reliability of pump operation are improved greatly.
